After
years of being a fan on the dance floor, Amanda
Robinson decided to move to the other side of the turntables in 2001.
Heavily influenced by the UK funky house scene from her time working in London,
she brings a light-hearted, fun-loving approach to DJing at clubs and parties.

Amanda consistently fills the dance floor with soulful, Latin, funky and rocking house
music. In 2005, Amanda was selected as a DJ for Scion's U.S. Emerging Artists Tour, and in 2006 she was a finalist in the Houston Press DJ Spin-off for a spot in the Miami Ultra Festival as well as a finalist for the Best House DJ music award. Amanda has opened for Felix da Housecat (Chicago - Emperor Norton), Derrick Carter (Chicago - Classic), Mark Farina (San Francisco - Om Records), Junkie XL (L.A. - Electronic Arts, Ultra Records ) and Stacy Kidd (Chicago - Underground Elements). Previous residencies include 'Social Seasons' (2006), 'RnR' (2005-6), 'Groovalicious too' (2005-6), 'Lush' (2005), 'Raise the Roof' (2005), 'House Party' (2004-5), 'On Top of the World' rooftop parties (2004), and Fridays at F2 (2003), along with guest appearances at 'ROTATE', 'Magnetic,' 'Berryhill Sundays' and 'MIXED Thursdays.'
